Did you just win funding for a program and don’t know where to start? I can help you create a plan and put it into action. I take a holistic view of programming and how it impacts the entire organization with regard to budgeting, branding, staffing, and outreach. If a government program is created, but no one knows about it, does it really exist?

Staff management

Centering workers is essential to accomplishing an organization’s goals. I have managed multi-tiered teams as large as 12 in nonprofits and campaigns, including field staff, engineers, data analysts, and communications professionals. All with an eye towards employee independence and professional development.

Political organizing

I have managed elections local and federal since 2006, as well as campaigns on behalf of community-based organizations. Last year I ran for office in the thick of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Writing

I have written everything from Brokelyn blog posts and NYSERDA grant applications to a 114 page thesis on grassroots political campaigns. If you need writing content, or a punch up of existing text, I can handle it.
